About Our Team
Our History
Our team offers a wide range of services to best suite your plumbing needs. Our plumbers are Red Seal Tradesmen and have been plumbing all of their adult lives. Brothers, Joseph and Daniel were led by their father, Ivan, who ventured down his own plumbing path when the boys were young. One would say, the boys have been around plumbing their entire lives, guided by their father to show them strong work ethic and dedication. This family was sure to produce master plumbers! Our office leader, Megan was brought to the team in 2017, bringing many years of documentation specialization to the table. Together, we take pride in our service to you and wanted to take a moment and introduce ourselves.
IVAN DUPONT
Ivan Dupont is the master of our crew. With years of experience, he and his wife, Valerie, formed JDK Plumbing. Through many years of late-night emergencies and innovation, they were able to create a brand well known throughout the area, advertised only by word of mouth. Ivan is a proud leader of his team, providing over 30 years of knowledge, skill, and abilities to take his team to the next level, every time. Valerie and Ivan have 3 children and 7 grandchildren, some of whom have worked as summer students with JDK.
JOSEPH DUPONT
Joseph Dupont is Ivan and Valeries eldest son, who became an apprentice for JDK in 2005. Following in his father's footsteps, Joseph quickly came to find his passion in plumbing. He developed the reputation of Quinte's friendly plumber and created plentiful relationships with all of their customers. Joseph is married to Megan, and together have a beautiful daughter.
DANIEL DUPONT
Daniel Dupont is the youngest son, bringing years of customer service and cutting-edge knowledge. After a few years in sales, Daniel decided to join up with his father and completed his trades college in 2017. His creativity and technical abilities are shown in his workmanship, leading JDK into the future of plumbing. Daniel is married to Ashley, and together, they have 3 handsome young men.
DERRICK SPENCER
Derrick Spencer is JDK's newest team member. Derrick has been a Red Seal Journeyman Plumber for 10+ years. He was trained and granted his Plumbing license in Alberta and has experience working in a vast variety of places all throughout Canada. His profession brought him back to his home base here in Quinte. Derrick has 2 young daughters that inspire him everyday.
MEGAN DUPONT
Megan Dupont is JDK's Office Operations Manager. Having been with the team since 2017, Megan has taken on the administrative side, helping to create an easy flow for both JDK's customers and plumbers. Megan spent her earlier career in Quality as a Documentation Specialist, proving to be an asset to our team by providing knowledge and experience in many different areas.
VALERIE DUPONT
Valerie Dupont is the owner of JDK Plumbing. She and Ivan worked together to build this business from the ground up. They have spent many years learning the industry and becoming a part of the community. They have 3 children which is whom the business was actually named after!
